Following is the standard Grande Prairie Elks #285 Rental Fees and Regulations.
Standard Hall rental is $700.00.
Hourly rental or short term rental rates are negotiable.
Extra charge will apply for use of Power screen and Projector of $75.00.
Deposit required at time of booking is $400.00.
Catering by in house caterer only.
Menu to be confirmed with Caterer.
Up to six hours prior to event is allowed for hall decorating and is included in rental fee. Any additional time required to decorate or for other uses must be pre-arranged and is subject to additional charges.
Removal of all decorations are the resonsibility of the renter.
Any damages to the building, equipment or other property will result in a charge back to the renter.
ELKS BAR ONLY
Bar services, product and personnel supplied by Elks Lodge ONLY. Service and personnel included in rental.
Beer, coolers, standard liquor and liquers, wine by glass or bottle available at a flat rate.
Elks house wine is Piat D'or or equivalent.
Special wines may be requested and will be supplied at cost plus 50%.
Bar pop and mix is self-serve and charged at a rate of $75.00 per event.
Absolutely no home-made wine, beer or liquor is allowed. No liquor not directly supplied by the Elks Lodge is allowed on the premises.
Number of people attending the event to be confirmed a minimum of 14 days prior to the event with the caterer.
No open candles are allowed.
No confetti, rice or glitter products allowed in the hall.
Midnight lunch is available upon request and confirmation with the caterer.
Linen table covers are an extra charge of $5.25 per cover. Linen napkins are $0.60 each.
$400.00 deposit non refundable 90 days prior to event.
All prices are based on a minimum of 100 people attending. If less than 100 people, the hall rent will be $700.00 plus catering costs. Caterer's price will depend on the number guaranteed.
Wedding ceremonies conducted in the hall or on the grounds is an additional $100.00. The Elks have orange chairs and white patio chairs for outdoor use (90 total) that may be used for outdoor weddings. New blue padded chairs are not for outside use.
Sunday gift opening/cleanup is an additional $100.00.
ALL ACCOUNTS ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT. ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE CREDITED ON INVOICE PRESENTED.
Due to safe food regulations and as required by Peace Country Health, the Elks do not allow function renters to remove food products that are prepared and supplied by the Caterer.
The above rental rates and policies are standard. The Elks are always willing to discuss any special arrangements or needs you may have and pricing is negotiable.
